You have complete control over so few things in your life…be in complete control of calories and macronutrients. As I prep for my upcoming contest I have successfully manipulated my macronutrients to continue to lose body fat and minimizing my muscle mass loss. I was taking in 1.25 g of protein for every lb, but I have reduced that to a 1 to 1 ratio, increasing my carbs and fats to stay at a 600 calorie deficit per day compared to my off season weight. I’m really seeing great results by doing this.
