I have been in pursuit of getting more out of myself physically as well as mentally for a long time now. I have always been at the top of my game physically, but I searched for a way to increase cognitive function. I tried several options, and now I’m using Qualia. I wanted to share my results with you after two months on this nootropic supplement.
Wait. What are Nootropics?

With this in mind, using a nootropic is like fine-tuning your brain so that the neurotransmitters throughout your body are working with the rest of your body efficiently. It’s part of a holistic approach to mind, body, and soul.
My Qualia Supplement Research
Because I am fanatical about knowing exactly what goes into my body, I did my research on two levels before ever taking this supplement. Firstly, I wanted to know in what country Qualia was manufactured and thereby getting a feel for control and standards of its production. Secondly, as everybody should do prior to taking any supplement, I wanted to know every ingredient and what it was doing.
You will be pleased to know that I have good news on both accounts. Qualia is developed in the US, not very far from Neurohacker Collective‘s headquarters in Encinitas, California. This assured me that good manufacturing processes were used producing the product. I also found that there are 42 different ingredients providing support in the following areas:
- Nootropic Compounds
- Neuro-Anti-Inflammatories and Anti-oxidants
- Adaptogen Extracts
- Choline Doners
Suffice it to say, the product basically has everything but the kitchen sink in it. In fact, because these 42 ingredients are so inclusive and the fact that I’m a minimalist, in general, other than protein powder this is the only supplement I take. No need for vitamins or even pre-workout formula for me.
As a final assessment, I visited their office in Calfornia and was very impressed with the staff, and they walked me through the product and their research. This team knows what they are doing. All I needed now were results.
Qualia is taken in two steps: 5 days on with two days off. Step 1 is taken first thing in the morning 30 minutes prior to consuming food. Step 2 is consumed with, or directly after, a full meal. The product is vegan, gluten-free (see my post “What is Gluten and Why is it Bad for You?“) as well as free of GMOs.

My Results on Qualia:
I’m very happy with the results, and I’m equally pleased that I have absolutely no side effects. While I can’t honestly claim improvement in all these areas, here’s where I have realized gains: memory, focus, creativity, drive, dreams (I can remember them more often) and physical energy. The two areas that stand out most for me are drive and physical energy. Specifically, I have more drive focused towards my goals, and my energy during workouts and throughout the day is much higher. Procrastination is really a thing of the past now. Mentally, I can better organize things I need to do and prioritize them with ease. Now that I’m at that point, I’m moving at a very fast rate on the right priorities. This is major progress for me.
My only con is that Qualia is the most expensive nootropic supplement I’ve seen. It costs around $130.00 per month. However, it is by far the most inclusive, meaning that it’s the only supplement you’ll need. Simplification to only one product makes it worth it for me.
